Dates:  Fall Session: September 1st - December 15th,   Spring Session:  January 5th - May 4th

Enrollment: Open enrollment for fall and spring sessions will be in the fall (space is limited to 20 per session).  Paper applications will go home with students on Monday, August 17th.  Completed applications are due Friday, August 21st. Students will know if they have been accepted the following week (August 24-28).

The purpose of the EPSD Beekeeping Club is to learn about honey bees, their colony, the hive, and their role on our planet.  Students will dress in full veils so that they may experience what it means to be a real beekeeper.  Activities include but are not limited to: maintaining our indoor and outdoor hives, educating peers in our district, & learning about pollinator plants that help our honey bees thrive.

The purpose of The EPES Garden Club is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening both indoors and outdoors.  Gardeners learn to sow seeds, tend gardens, and harvest fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  Activities include but are not limited to:  giving classrooms seed starting kits each Spring, maintaining the Pollinator Garden at EPES, tending 3 plots in the EV Community Garden, maintaining hydroponics in EP schools, & maintaining plots in the HS CTE Greenhouse.

Collaborate with a team of your peers to create, program (code) and drive robots in the annual VEX IQ competitions.

Meeting Dates & Times: Tuesdays, 3:20 - 4:30, Club runs September-April (end date depends on team performance to qualify for State/Worlds). 

Meeting Location:  Computer Lab

Start Date:  First mandatory club meeting will be on Tuesday, September 8th

About:  Runs Sept-April (end date depends on team performance to qualify for State/Worlds).  Students must commit to the entire year of being in the club.  Some Saturday competitions in Jan-March - students insterested in being on a competative team have to commit to being there on those Saturdays.  Space is limited.
