Hello, Junior Bobcats! 

I am so excited to continue my third year at Estes Park Elementary School as your School Counselor! I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Before coming to EPES, I was a 4th grade teacher in Phoenix, Arizona, for 5 years before getting my master's degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.

As a counselor, my primary role is to support our students in their personal, social, academic, and career growth. I see students on an individual, group, and whole class level. I enjoy getting to know ALL my students PreK - 5th grade and building a positive relationship with each and every one of them!

I am originally from Brownsville, Texas, which is right on the border of Mexico. All my experience comes from being in the school system for 9 years and having both my parents as elementary teachers as well. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and anything adventurous! I have an adorable fur baby named Bandit that loves cuddles.

My goal is to support students and families as best as I can, so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
